Consumer Privacy Notice
The short version of how information is handled on a page dailybuilt operates for a business. The business decides what to ask you and what to do with your answers. We handle your information only to run the page for that business.
Who is behind this page
This page is operated by DailyBuilt, Inc. on behalf of the business you are dealing with. That business is named on the page.
- The business decides what to ask you, why, and what to do with your answers. It is the one that holds your information and answers to you for it.
- DailyBuilt is the software company that runs the page and delivers the messages. We handle your information only to operate the service for that business, under our contract with it. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
For what the business does with your information after it receives it, ask the business for its own privacy policy.
What we collect, by page
Booking pages ({business}.dailybuilt.co/book)
Your name, email address, and — if you give it — your mobile number; the service, date and time you pick; your time zone; and your answers to any extra questions the business added. Those questions are written by the business and can include health or intake information, so share only what you are comfortable sending. We also record your IP address briefly to block spam and abuse.
Signing pages (/sign)
Your name and email address, your signature and anything you type or draw into the document's fields, and whether you agreed to sign electronically. When you view, sign, or decline a document we record the date and time, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string, and we print them on the certificate of completion attached to the signed document. That is deliberate: it is what makes the signature provable. The business and you both get a copy.
Payment pages (/pay)
The invoice details, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded or failed. Your card number never reaches DailyBuilt. Card details go directly to Stripe, Inc., which processes the payment on the business's own Stripe account — the business, not DailyBuilt, is the merchant. We keep the payment metadata Stripe returns (last four digits, card brand, timestamps, status) so the business can reconcile the invoice.
Inquiry and contact forms Whatever you type, plus your email address or phone number and your IP address.
Email
If a business emails you through DailyBuilt and you hit reply, your reply is delivered to and stored for that business — the whole message, its attachments, and your email address. Replies route through reply.dailybuilt.co so they thread into the business's record of your conversation. Treat a reply as writing straight to the business, because you are.
Text messages If you give a business your mobile number, we record the number, that you gave it, when, and from which page, plus the messages sent and their delivery status. That record is what lets the business prove your consent. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Details: SMS Terms.
Spam protection
Booking and inquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check. Turnstile receives your IP address and limited signals about your browser and how you interacted with the page, and returns a pass/fail. It is Cloudflare's product and is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy. Cloudflare states it does not use Turnstile data for behavioral advertising or profiling.
Analytics and session recording
Booking pages may load Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool DailyBuilt hosts itself on its own servers. It counts page views, referrers, approximate location by country, and device type. It sets no advertising cookies and does not store your IP address — the IP is converted to a rotating salted hash and discarded.
Some businesses also enable session recording and heatmaps, which capture a reconstruction of a visit — pointer movement, scrolling, clicks, and page changes — that the business can replay or view as a heatmap. This is off unless a business turns it on for its own page. When recording is on, the recorder can capture what you type into a form field. We enable the analytics engine's input-masking setting when we turn recording on, but that masking is performed by the engine, and we do not represent that form inputs are masked. Where a business has enabled recording, the page tells you so before the recorder starts and gives you a control to decline. If you decline, the recorder does not load for that visit.
How to opt out: use a browser setting or extension that blocks analytics scripts, or browse in a mode that blocks them. You can also email hello@dailybuilt.co with the page address and we will ask the business to exclude you.
On healthcare pages (businesses using DailyBuilt's Healthcare Edition), session recording is never loaded, Do Not Track is honored, the page address is stripped to its first segment before it leaves your browser, and analytics traffic goes through an IP-anonymizing proxy.
Cookies
The pages use only what they need to work — for example, keeping your session on a signing or payment page, and Turnstile's bot check. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on these pages. See the Cookie Policy.
Who else sees your information
Only the business, and the vendors DailyBuilt uses to run the service on its behalf — hosting, database, email delivery, text-message delivery, payment processing, error monitoring, and analytics. Each is bound by contract to use the information only to provide its service to us. The current list is published at dailybuilt.co/subprocessors. We may also disclose information when the law requires it; see our Legal Process Policy.
How long it is kept
The business decides how long its records are kept, within the limits in our contract with it. Some records have to be kept longer than you might expect — financial records, audit logs, and, for healthcare businesses, clinical records all carry retention floors set by law, so we cannot always delete something on request. The retention section of the Privacy Policy has the details.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what information is held about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for asking.
Ask the business first. It holds your information and decides what happens to it — DailyBuilt cannot release, change, or delete a business's records without that business's instruction.
If you cannot reach the business, or you are not sure who to ask, email hello@dailybuilt.co with the business name and the page you used. We will forward your request to the business and help it respond, as our contract with it requires. Tell us if you would like a reply confirming we forwarded it. We do not decide your request ourselves. We are a service provider for that information, so we act only on the business's documented instruction, and if the business instructs us not to act we will tell you that and identify the business so you can take it up directly (11 CCR § 7050(c)).
You can also always: stop texts by replying STOP; stop marketing email using the unsubscribe link in it, or by emailing hello@dailybuilt.co; and decline to sign a document — see the End-User Terms for how to withdraw consent to electronic records.
If your information is health information held by a healthcare business, that business — not DailyBuilt — is the one that must give you its Notice of Privacy Practices and handle your HIPAA rights. DailyBuilt acts as its business associate. Washington State residents: see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Children
These pages are not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a business asks you to book or sign for a minor, you are acting as that minor's parent, guardian, or authorized representative.
Where this applies
DailyBuilt offers its service to businesses in the United States and to their customers. These pages are not directed to people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the effective date above and post the new version here. Please check it before you use one of these pages again. Prior versions of this document are archived by date and are available on request to hello@dailybuilt.co.
